A 22-year-old Tennessee woman has been reported missing and the details surrounding her disappearance have sparked confusion and concern.

The Dade County Sheriff's Office shared the details of Jasmine Pace's disappearance on its Facebook page on November 28.

"Jasmine Pace a.k.a 'Jazzy' was last seen 22 November 2022 by family. Her plan had been to leave the Chattanooga (TN) area for a few days," the post said.

"[She] has not been heard from since and her vehicle was tracked to 900 Mountain Creek RD of Chattanooga. May have been with a male friend: Jason Chen."

She is described as a white female, aged 22 with brown eyes and black hair. She has a tattoo on her left shoulder.

Friends and family of Pace have expressed their concern following a social media post that they do not believe she posted.

Speaking to Local 3 News, Pace's childhood friend, Bailey Putman, spoke about the concern.

"We want her home. And we want her safe. That is so very unlike her [to miss Thanksgiving dinner].

"There's not a day they don't hear from Jasmine let alone an hour."

On November 23, Pace also shared her phone's location with her mother via text message, according to the report, which Putman said was unlike her.

"To me, in my heart, sending that location to her mom, her mom would understand what that meant," she said.

This concern was inflated when on November 26, a post went up on Pace's Facebook page that read: "Enjoying Thanksgiving with my baby!"

However, her friends remarked in the comments that it was an old picture as her recent shoulder tattoo was not visible. In addition to this, it showed Pace in her lingerie, a revealing picture that those commenting said Pace would not post publicly.

As well as this, Pace's mother received a text from Jasmine's phone that said she was going to visit a friend in South Carolina. However the friend, who is seen in the Facebook post, said she has had no plans to meet her and lives in Kentucky.

Putman continued: "Her phone has not been active since Tuesday. Her social media has, but not on the device of her phone.
